In yesterday’s video, I shared about my revelations about paying for experience when you hire an expert to do work for you. I used the example of using orthodontics as a kid, and how the value wasn’t in the mechanics or the brackets or rubber bands we use to straighten teeth, but the real value was in the experience and expertise that my orthodontist brought to get me the results that I wanted.
You can obviously do a lot of things yourself, between the internet and how-to videos. You can do whatever you set out to do on your own, but the reason we still have experts is because in some ways, we’re paying to guarantee the results that we want.
Of course there’s one essential piece that is easily overlooked.
